Centennial Plan RRSP Fund Closure Notice

SaskTel and Unifor reached agreement to discontinue the SaskTel Centennial Plan. Effective December 31, 2024, the Centennial Plan is being converted to the Flexible Spending Account (FSA). In addition, as of December 15, 2025 and in each following year the FSA will increase by 2.31% to 3.31% of an employee’s base annual salary.

As such, the SaskTel Centennial RRSP Plan at Manulife Financial will be closing September 18, 2024. As a result, the Centennial Plan will no longer be an option for 2024 FSA allocations.

Shortly after September 18, Manulife will contact plan members by mail regarding their accounts and options available (maintaining a private Manulife RRSP, transferring the funds to a registered RRSP or the Public Employee Pension Plan, or withdrawing the funds as cash). Please make sure that your mailing address is correct with them prior to September 18 as changes to addresses in myBiz will not be reflected in Manulife’s systems.
