Committees

Unifor Local 1-S committees were established for all members to participate in.

In order for these committees to be successful, we require member involvement.  More people in the committees means less work overall for each person.

Committee involvement is at the core of developing a strong union. Our union is looking for members with skillsets in communication, technology, activism, social events, and process development.

Are you handy with social media? Curious about bylaw and election procedures? Want to help with parade organizing?

We have a need for specialized skills as well as regular participation. For example, the Communications committee needs editors, photographers, video editors, and social media experts.

Members are paid wage replacement for time spent on committees so membership participation will not cost you anything financially.

In order for these committees to be successful, we need U!

For more information on the committees, please visit the website and click on Committees. Then choose the committee from the drop down navigation.

In solidarity.
