Paladin Aviation Security Services' (formerly GardaWorld) highly trained airport security personnel provide passenger screening services as well as security for all vulnerable areas. Since 9/11 the world of airport security has completely changed and continues to evolve rapidly. Paladin Aviation Security Services has become a leader in airport security by being able to rapidly adapt to change and by investing heavily in constant training for its personnel.

As the current collective agreement expires on March 31, 2026.  The bargaining process will begin shortly, watch for details on submitting proposals and nominations for members on the bargaining committee.

Request for Proposals

Preparations are now underway for the next round of collective bargaining with Paladin. 

At the first step in this process, members are invited to submit proposals for amendments to our current collective agreement, which will be reviewed at the Local 1-S Proposal Screening Caucus. Proposals which are approved by the Local Screening Caucus will become part of the bargaining package exchanged with Paladin. 

All proposed amendments must be submitted on official Contract Proposal form

Please remember to submit each proposal on a separate form and include as much supporting information as possible.  Also, please remember to date and sign each proposal form.  

Please Note: Proposal forms without a date or signature will not be accepted. 

Completed forms may be returned by either Email (uniforlocal1s@uniforlocal1s.ca) or In Person to the Local 1-S office.  

NOTE: All contract proposal submissions must be received in the Local 1-S office by 4:30 pm, November 20, 2025.
